BLANK CANVAS GALA: A POW WOW HAWAII FUNDRAISER

Pow Wow Hawaii is pleased to present a unique art inspired event, the Blank Canvas Gala, Saturday October 6, 2012 from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm at The Warehouse. The event will showcase local and international artist, exceptional food, amazing signature drinks, passionate entertainment, a large art based silent auction and a live art installation. Pow Wow Hawaii is a gathering of contemporary artist committed to community enrichment through the creation of art outreach programs, educational programs and engaging the community in the creation and appreciation of art. All profits from this event will go towards funding the enrichment programs Pow Wow Hawaii has planned for 2012-2013. Pow Wow Hawaii creating art, promoting self-expression, fostering cultural awareness and cultivating community pride.

THE KALANI FALCONS BAND BOOSTERS PRESENTS THE CONCERT + CUISINE SERIES

The Kalani Falcons Band Boosters is proud to present the Concert + Cuisine Series, a unique pop-up dining experience that unites the musical arts with culinary arts. On Friday, October 19, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm To-Go Dinners prepared by Chef Christopher Okuhara and Chef Christopher Gee of MISO & ALE will be available for pick up at the Kalani High School Cafeteria.

To-Go Dinners are for purchase by pre-sale only via Eventbrite, for $30. Sales end on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 12:00 am HST. Purchase your To-Go Dinner(s) via the “Ticket Information” portion below. Each To-Go Dinner, contains generous portions for one person, includes:

Ginger Cilantro Chicken

Grilled Fresh Catch

Braised Pork Belly

Rice

House Pickled Vegetables

For you music lovers, we invite you to stay and enjoy your To-Go Dinner(s) in the Kalani High School Cafeteria where you can enjoy musical talents of the Kalani High School Symphonic Wind Ensemble, directed by Dennis Kaneshiro, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Seating is limited, and is on first come, first served basis.

We will also be offering a full service dine-in option that will feature a four-course menu also prepared by MISO & ALE. Enjoy this exquisite four-course menu and performance by the Kalani High School Wind Ensemble with your friends and family by purchasing a table of (8), for $500, or a table of (6), for $375.
