TICKETS FOR OUR JUNE 30 POP-UP ARE NOW ON SALE!

MISO & ALE is proud to present a gastropub pop-up dining event at Moke’s Bread & Breakfast in Kailua.  On Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 6:30 pm we will be serving a five-course menu* for $55/person**, created with local ingredients, prepared by Chef Christopher Gee and Christopher Okuhara.  Please refer to the menu below for a description of each course.  For our 21+ diners, it is a BYOB event.

*If you have any food allergies please contact us before the event and we will accommodate you to the best of our ability.

**Our pop-ups are community-style seating. If you have large parties, please let us know and we will make sure to seat everyone together.

CHAPTER 1

“SURF & TURF CHARCUTERIE”

Smoked Thai chicken sausage with a butterscotch miso mustard, cured kampachi with a lemongrass romesco, and pork belly rillette with a petit apple compote

CHAPTER 2

“FARM FRESH SUMMERTIME SALAD”

A summer time salad of fresh spinach, mint, basil, candied tomatoes, and toasted pumpkin seeds with a kabocha panna cotta topped with a lardon vinaigrette

CHAPTER 3

“HOT AND SOUR RAMEN”

Fresh chukka soba with a hot and sour chicken broth, fresh seasonal vegetables, and vegetable gyoza

CHAPTER 4

“MISO & ALE ALL DAY BRAISED SHORT RIB”

All day braised short ribs with roasted mirepoix, garlic-arugula grits, and dark ale sauce

CHAPTER 5

“DECONSTRUCTED PB & J”

Liquid nitrogen peanut butter ice cream with toasted vanilla lime cake, red grape tapioca, and roasted curried peanuts
