MISO & ALE is proud to present a gastropub pop-up dining event at Moke’s Bread & Breakfast in Kailua. On Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 6:30 pm we will be serving a five-course menu* for $55/person, created with local ingredients, prepared by Chef Christopher Gee and Christopher Okuhara. Please refer to the menu below for a description of each course. For our 21+ diners, it is a BYOB event.

CHAPTER 1
“SCALLOP AND SHRIMP BOUDIN”
Homemade sausage of prawns, scallops, Chinese sausage, and Asian aromatics with a slow roasted tomato curried crisp and creamy grits
CHAPTER 2
“SWEET PEA PANNA COTTA”
A summertime salad of fresh spinach, mint, basil, toasted pumpkin seeds, with a chilled pea panna cotta and creamy lardon vinaigrette
CHAPTER 3
“HOT AND SOUR RAMEN”
Fresh chukka soba with a hot and sour chicken broth, seasonal vegetables, and vegetable gyoza
CHAPTER 4
“GREEN EGGS AND HAM”
Crispy cube of cured pork belly with a sweet potato hash, poached egg, and a verde Hollandaise
CHAPTER 5
“DECONSTRUCTED GIRL SCOUT COOKIE”
Liquid nitrogen coconut ice cream, vanilla coco nut cigar, toasted honey cake, and a mango chocolate compote
